Thesis was founded in 2023 with the goal of providing a unique take on additive manufacturing services.

While there are many contract manufacturers who can produce parts that match a specification, there are far fewer who will work with you to develop and refine a design into a fully print ready model. Far fewer still who understand what comes before and after the 3D print or the manufacturing challenges associated with metal casting, surface finish, coloration, material limitations, texture, fabrication....

 

Seeing an opportunity to provide a different sort of experience, Thesis was born.

Thesis feel like a studio, and works like a shop. We're here to answer question and get to know you and your work personally. You're a name not a job number. We carefully review every request and work hands on to make sure what we deliver matches your vision, not just your file. That said we're serious geeks. We love our toys and we opened our doors with the absolute best technology. We know our tools inside out and know how to push them to their limits, and also when a given technology isn't right for a particular purpose. We're open and honest about what we can and can't do and will also tell you when we see a problem.

Our team has deep experience in both the arts and technology. Collectively we've owned a bronze art foundry, fine art print studio, founded a software company, worked as product and project manager, photographer, editor and filmmaker. One of them also assembled squirt guns for a while which I'm sure will be relevant at some point. 

 

We love big projects. We know what it takes to deliver multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects on time. We're used to navigating the challenges of permits, politics and contracts.

We do late night requests for last minute, need it yesterday jobs, because at Thesis you'll find people that care about your project almost as much as you do.
